Progress... Slowly... But surely...

Firstly... Earthwarden is finally mine! Thanks to Mdrx for providing the final Colifang Armaments that tipped me over the edge to Exalted - after another Stealth run to kill the Slaves and Slavemasters the other night.

Mdrx is also ready and waiting to do the necessary Enchant to make it complete... I've been gathering the mats for that for the last few weeks!

I've also been doing some Heroics - well Heroic Ramps, anyway... And what happened to drop on the last run?

Tree-Mender's Belt, which was nicely in the chest at the end along with Chestguard of the Prowler and Averinn's Ring of Slaying... As the Chestguard isn't a HUGE upgrade from Chestguard of the Talon, I passed on it to let the group get another Shard...

So... I'm now up to 23 Badges of Justice...

Which is very nearly enough for Ring of Unyielding Force - which would be a nice upgrade from Wind Trader's Band...

Helm of the Claw

I can be quite stupid at times...

Like when I'm wondering why I don't have Helm of the Claw, despite being sure I'd done that quest - and having run Steam Vaults more times than necessary in my search for CE Rep towards Earthwarden.

Then I looked in my Bank last night. And what do you know - sitting there all shiny and unused... Helm of the Claw.

So now I need a pair of Gems (Relentless Earthstorm Diamond and Delicate Living Ruby) and Glyph (Glyph of Ferocity) to put on it... Not that I just spent a similar amount of money on a Dragonhide Helm just after Patch 2.4 came out and I realised it was better than my current helm. Oh no....

Other fun from last night was that I got my +12 Agility enchant on my newly purchased Cloak of the Craft...

And I'm at 20195/21000 rep with Cenarion Expedition - so only one more run in SV plus some cash to get... (Or possibly a stealth run to the slaves, and eventually find a group for Heroic Sethekk for Swift Flight Form too - +500 CE Rep for the last quest in that line)...

A new friend...

After a few tries, Muckbreath's Bucket dropped the other night...

So I've one of the little crocs to assist me as I wander the land now!

As I've only about 200 Fishing Skill, I've been checking Old Man Barlow each day when I've had time to see if Crocolisks in the City was the Fishing Daily, and going to Stormwind to level up Fishing a bit at the same time as trying to catch the Croc...

The real draw from the Bag of Fishing Treasures has to be The 2 Ring... Not just for it's lovely stats, but for the excellent fun of it's name! The drop %age on that means't it's extremely unlikely, though.

Recalled to Life...

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times”

That's possibly a good description of "the End Game" in Warcraft for me... And, with many apologies to Mr Dickens, it gives me an excuse to use the Blog name!

Whilst levelling, I thought it must be great to be at Level 70, and be able to use all of the gear that's out there - and it is! It's nice to be able to pick and choose between all the different things that can be done in Warcraft. All of the aspects of the game that seemed to be "cool" are now available...

However, it's also a difficult time, as it's the real point where things go non-linear in the game - and you actually have to think about what you want to do. It's also the point at which "casual" becomes difficult to quantify, and some things really require quite a lot of commitment.

So...

This blog is intended to be somewhere where I'll share my experiences at this point in the game - I'll be posting as things happen that interest me, and doing the general web-loggy thing of pointing out things I like from other people's Blogs!
